Sergio "Satch" Pecori, P.E.

Sergio Pecori is the chairman and CEO of Hanson Professional Services Inc. As the fourth chairman and CEO in Hanson’s 64-year history, with more than 40 years of experience in the engineering industry, Sergio has a wealth of knowledge designing and managing complex projects throughout the U.S. He also is highly regarded in the technical field, serving as an ambassador for the engineering profession in numerous leadership roles.

Sergio has served on the U.S. Department of State’s Overseas Buildings Operations’ Industry Advisory Panel and the U.S. Department of Defense’s Reserve Forces Policy Board. He received in 2015 the Office of the Secretary of Defense Medal for Exceptional Public Service and a Department of Defense Certificate of Appreciation for his service. Sergio was appointed in 2011 to a four-year term on the board. In 2013, he was selected to lead the board’s Cyber Policy Task Group.

He also is involved with many professional organizations and was chairman of the American Council of Engineering Companies for 2017–18.
