Hanson ranks 5th in ‘Best Places to Work in Illinois’ category
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Hanson Professional Services Inc. is fifth in the medium-employer category on a list of 80 companies named the best places to work in Illinois.
Hanson’s ranking in the category of 19 companies, which was revealed at an awards ceremony May 11 at Abbington Distinctive Banquets in Glen Ellyn, is on the “Best Places to Work in Illinois” list managed by Harrisburg, Pennsylvania-based Best Companies Group. Best Companies works with local media and publishing partners to establish “Best Places to Work” programs, which recognize businesses that create and maintain workplace excellence. Registered companies respond to employer and employee surveys, and Best Companies analyzes that information and each company’s workplace policies, practices and demographics to determine a “Best Places to Work” list.
The best places to work in Illinois for women, millennials and Hispanics also were announced. Profiles of the top companies and other winners will be published in a special section June 26 in the Daily Herald Suburban Business.
In 2021, Hanson maintained second place from 2020 in the medium-employer category on a list of 69 companies. This is the 17th year for “Best Places to Work in Illinois.” For more information about the list, go to www.bestplacestoworkil.com.
