Brand joins Hanson’s headquarters as project manager
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Mike Brand, P.E., project manager, recently joined Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Springfield headquarters. He will take a leading role in the advancement of the firm’s Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) and local government transportation engineering endeavors and serve as a project manager for transportation engineering projects.
Brand worked for IDOT in Springfield for 30 years, most recently as the section chief of policy and procedures for the Bureau of Design and Environment. He received an associate degree in engineering science from Saint Louis Community College – Florissant Valley and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. He is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois.
