Kelahan marks five years at Hanson’s St. Louis regional office
MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. — Greg Kelahan, P.E., a ports and harbor engineer at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s St. Louis regional office, recently celebrated five years of service with the company.
Prior to joining Hanson in 2011, Kelahan was an engineer and project manager for consulting firms in Florida. At Hanson, he provides market and feasibility studies, master planning, environmental permitting, agency coordination, engineering design and construction administration for multimodal transportation projects. He has worked on projects including Jefferson County Port Authority barge fleeting sites on the Mississippi River near Herculaneum; drainage design for the widening and reconstruction of a 22-mile section of Interstate 90 (Jane Addams Memorial Tollway) in Boone, Kane and McHenry counties in Illinois; and several transportation infrastructure prioritization studies throughout Illinois.
Kelahan earned a bachelor’s degree in ocean engineering in 2000 from Florida Atlantic University. He is a licensed professional engineer in Florida and a member of the Inland Rivers, Ports and Terminals board of directors.
