Watson joins Hanson in Indianapolis as regional infrastructure lead

INDIANAPOLIS — George Watson, P.E., PMP, CPESC, a vice president and regional infrastructure lead, recently joined Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Indianapolis office. He will assist in leading Hanson’s expanding group of Indiana transportation engineers and project managers.

Watson, who has 14 years in infrastructure engineering experience, previously was an assistant vice president and Indiana bridge lead for an international engineering firm in Indianapolis. He received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Purdue University and is a licensed professional engineer in Indiana, a certified project management professional and a certified professional in erosion and sediment control.

Watson is the past president of the American Society of Civil Engineers’ Metropolitan Indianapolis Branch and is a member of the American Council of Engineering Companies Indiana, which named him the 2023 Young Engineer of the Year, and WTS International’s Indiana Chapter, from which he received the 2023 Honorable Ray LaHood Award.
