Quill celebrates 10 years at Hanson
LISLE, Ill. — Michael Quill, P.E., digital delivery manager for surface transportation, recently celebrated 10 years of service at Hanson Professional Services Inc.
Quill, who joined the firm in 2014 and works at the Chicago regional office, has provided design services for projects related to transportation infrastructure, including the widening and reconstruction of a 22-mile section of Interstate 90 (Jane Addams Memorial Tollway) in Boone, Kane and McHenry counties; the reconstructions of segments of the Tri-State Tollway in Cook County; and several improvements for the Illinois Tollway in the greater Chicago area.
Quill received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 2006 from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a master’s degree in civil engineering in 2012 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He also served in the U.S. Navy as a surface warfare officer for four years. He is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
