Not only are our mechanical and electrical engineers experienced in providing these services for a wide range of project types, but we focus on producing sustainable designs, incorporating resiliency through redundancy where needed, reducing energy costs, minimizing first costs and decreasing maintenance requirements.
- Mechanical
Our mechanical engineers specialize in new feasibility studies, assessments, new construction, renovations and retrofits/replacements with heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems; dedicated outdoor air systems; chilled water and heating hot water central energy plants; geothermal systems; variable refrigerant flow systems; and smoke control systems. We also provide new designs and replacements/retrofits for all types of building automation systems, such as direct digital control systems and pneumatics, including improving equipment’s sequences of operation.
- Plumbing and fire protection
Our plumbing engineers are experienced in the assessment and design of domestic water, sanitary sewer and storm systems; compressed air systems; reverse-osmosis systems; and domestic water booster pumps. Our fire protection engineers provide performance-based designs for wet sprinkler systems, dry sprinkler systems (single- and double-interlock) and clean agent systems for data centers.
- Electrical
Collaborating with utilities, building power systems and security systems, our electrical engineers design and assess building power, emergency power, standby/emergency generator systems, uninterruptible power systems, site distribution, grounding systems and inspections, surge and transient voltage protection, utility coordination and control systems. Our lighting system design services include interior and exterior lighting, site and facility lighting, security lighting and emergency lighting. Our low-voltage design services encompass surge and lightning protection systems, fire detection and alarm systems, audio/visual systems, telecommunications systems and closed-circuit television and access control systems.
We also specialize in airport electrical systems, including electrical vaults, airfield, apron and roadway lighting, instrument landing systems, navigational aids systems and automated weather observing systems.
