Terry Barnett, P.E., S.E., a senior structural engineer who joined Hanson in 1981, has experience in structural design, repair and rehabilitation; and construction document preparation and administration. He has worked on a variety of projects, including buildings, bridges and special structures.
Terry has experience with a variety of structural systems and materials, including concrete, steel, masonry and glue-laminated timber. Additionally, he has conducted structural and foundation investigations and inspections for a variety of buildings, bridges and other structures. He is a licensed professional and structural engineer and has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Ryne Fiorito, P.E., S.E., building structural associate discipline manager, joined Hanson in 2008. He conducts siting, design, development and construction services for power-generating stations and facilities; educational, industrial, medical, military and water-supply facilities; parking garages; bridges; levees; and municipal landfills.
He is a licensed professional and structural engineer and has a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a bachelor’s degree in physics from Illinois College.

Matt Heyen, P.E., a civil engineer, joined Hanson in 2001. His experience includes geometric design, utility management, storm and sanitary sewer design, cost estimation and project management. His project experience encompasses a wide range of services, from evaluating the impacts of site geometry, determining temporary and permanent pavement designs and field construction inspections.
Matt is a Federal Aviation Administration-licensed private pilot and drone pilot. He manages the drone program for Hanson’s power market. He is a licensed professional engineer and has a bachelor’s degree in physics and mathematics from MacMurray College and a bachelor’s degree in agricultural engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Suzanna Keim, P.G., a geologist who joined Hanson in 2014, has provided geotechnical and site assessment investigations for projects including Ameren Corp.’s Illinois Rivers transmission line project across the state and groundwater assessments and reporting for coal-combustion residual sites for several power stations in Illinois.
She received a bachelor’s degree in geology in 2003 and a master’s degree in hydrogeology in 2005 from Illinois State University and is a licensed professional geologist in Illinois, Florida and Texas. She is a member of the National Ground Water Association.

C J Saladino, a vice president, joined Hanson in 2018. He has extensive experience in safety management, regulatory and environmental compliance, union relations and budget management.
Prior to joining Hanson, C J was the vice president and general manager of plant operations for Dynegy Inc. His responsibilities included the oversight of 4,000 megawatts of capacity at five coal-fired power plants in Illinois as well as safety, environmental aspects, operations, maintenance, union negotiations, budgeting and long-term planning. He also was responsible for the optimization of the capital budgets of all Dynegy power plants throughout the country. He has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
