Hanson staff to present at ASCE/SAME 2010 Engineering Conference

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Hanson employees John Harms, P.E., S.E., senior vice president, and Steve McCaskie, P.E., project manager, will serve as presenters at the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Society of American Military Engineers’ 2010 Engineering Conference in Davenport, Iowa, on Oct. 20.

Harms will present “P&L Railway Bridge over the Tennessee River.” He has nearly 40 years of experience in the engineering field, and he has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Purdue University. For more information on this presentation, contact Harms at jharms@hanson-inc.com.

McCaskie will present “Is it a Dam or a Levee? – Devils Lake, North Dakota.” He has more than 30 years of experience in the engineering field. McCaskie has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Miami and a master’s degree in civil engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University.
